Technology is incredibly important in classrooms to expand accessibility and effiiency however technology also brings along many issues as well. In the implementation of technology often leads to decreased productivity due to the distractions that it brings. This isa serious problem because it can hinder learning but that does not mean technology isn't useful or that it cannot be solved. In order to increase probability on devices such as computers or tablets in the classroom, exposure time could be monitored and limited. If student are given too much free time on devices they will get distracted. Another solution would be to put website blockers on websites that are not used for learning.

Copyright is an important topic when regarding technological use in the classroom. Copyright and fair use are essential in making sure that a student's work is their own. I have never learned about copyright in school however I have heard about copyright regarding music and songs. I also did learn about plagiarism in school which is related to copyright because it covers the idea of unlawfully using work that is not your original work and turning it in without citing or giving credit. In schools I would deal with this by not using sites such as teacherforteacher or other sites where worksheet materials are shared. I would find or create my own work for my students and never take any information without approval from the creator. In the same way that I would not take credit for another teachers work, I would expect that from my students and I would use grading systems that check for Ai and plagiarism. I have no lingering concerns or questions.

While working on the newsletter assignment I have obtained a new understand of the Word platform and how to use all of the functions. Finding where the tools i needed were was a bit of a challenge but a few google searches and following the videos given I was able to figure it out. I definitely think I have room for improvement when making future newsletters however I think this assignment taught me valuable information. I specifically learned that pages and word are not completely compatible so I had to download Microsoft on my computer. I am excited to make newsletters for my future classrooms and I will continue to gain practice to make my newsletters more aesthetically pleasing. I will include a screen shot of the pages of my newsletter below. Thank you for reading this blog and have a great day!
