Many school implement websites for teachers, admin, and students to use to navigate essential information, frequently asked questions, and communicate within the school. Some schools require that certain teachers have their own pages on these websites. When used correctly, these websites contain useful information regarding assignments and homework, contact information, classroom resources, announcements, syllabus policies, calendar and a teacher biography. The information on these websites is usually public and does not require a log in. A ver clear and effective example I found is https://amylemons.com/.
I would use technology to accomplish my profession responsibilities by making a teacher website that is very clear, follows CRAP guidelines, and displays all necessary information. I also plan on using tools such as class dojo, Kahoot, and planbook.com. I will use these tools to manage, plan and engage with students in my classroom.
My experience with assignment 2 was overall positive. I thought that the directions were clear and instruction over how to complete the assignment was adequate. I liked the usage of Ai in this aspect because of the thoughtful evaluation and consideration that we took after using the Ai. Ai is a good stepping stone or framework to use in a classroom however it is not one and done when implementing it. A human is still needed for evaluating the material and teaching the material. This assignment taught me that is is important to have a clear lesson plan that would be accomplishable to teach with the materials and information provided. I thought the canvas tool was helpful however collaborating in a group within the canvas tool was difficult and harder than other tools I have used. i also think that the design tools were hard to navigate and the limited options weren't very engaging or exciting. I liked the idea of creating my own canvas page but I would still consider using google classroom in my future class.
