 Over the course of the semester my personal learning network (PLN) has grown substantially. At the beginning of this class, my PLN consisted of a few professors, classmates, and previous classes I had taken in college. However, now my PLN includes a wider range of connections such as peers, professors, and guidance counsellors, resources such as online teaching social media pages and websites for teachers. I have also learned how to utilize many programs such as word, padlet, blogger, bit.ly for teaching. I now engage with a more professional community of educators and fellow students. My PLN has become more intentional and diverse which will help me in my future career. 

    As a future second grade teacher I see data collection tools such as Qualtrics or Google forms as a valuable tool for improving instruction and learning. These tools would allow me to gain information on understanding, classroom dynamics, and parent communication. An example of using these tools in a classroom would be to give students a survey on what skills or concepts need reviewing before a test. This survey would allow me to gauge the students learning and in turn cater my teaching towards the needs of students. In conclusion, these tool will help my make my teaching more interactive and effective as every student will have different needs in my classroom. 

    One technological skill I would like to learn is how to use google classroom effectively in a class. SMART goal- S- By the end of this semester I will be able to implement Google Classroom into a class of my own by learning how to organize and post assignments, use rubrics, and give feedback. I will practice these skills by setting up a mock second grade class on google classroom and uploading on it at least 5 times. To accomplish this I will watch educational tutorials on the google classroom website, youtube, or ask another accomplished educator who has experience. This skill will help me organize my classroom and maintain my students and their work.
